Let me ask you a quick question as we step into this new year:
Would you be happy if your kids:
Ate exactly as you do?
Exercised as much as you do?
Felt the same energy, motivation, and vitality that you feel right now at your age?
If the answer is yes, that’s incredible—keep leading by example. You're showing them what it means to live with strength, purpose, and stewardship.
But if the answer is no, then it’s time to take a hard look in the mirror and ask yourself: What needs to change?
Taking care of your health isn’t selfish. It’s not just “one more thing on your plate.”
It’s the table holding the plate.
Your kids will do what they see you do. They’ll mimic your eating habits, your exercise routines (or lack of them), and even how you treat your body. It is only going to get harder for them to eat well and move the longer you wait to teach them—and as the world gets more and more convenient.
Here’s the truth: You can’t pour into your family, your work, or your faith if you’re running on empty. Prioritizing your health isn’t about vanity—it’s about stewardship. It’s about honoring the body God entrusted to you and living as the example He’s called you to be.
So, let’s make this year different. Let’s make it the year where you commit to becoming the strongest, healthiest, and happiest version of yourself—not just for you, but for them.
It starts with one step.
Leah and I are looking for 1 Christian family to work with in every state.
We’d love it if it was you!
