We’re stepping into a new year—a time when goals are set, promises are made, and hope feels tangible. But let me be real with you for a moment:

It’s not a new year if nothing changes. It’s just another year.

You know what I mean. The gym memberships, the meal plans, the resolutions to “finally get healthy” that last a couple of weeks before life sweeps them under the rug. Year after year, it’s the same cycle, and nothing truly changes because the focus isn’t on what matters most.

Here’s the hard truth: Change doesn’t come from flipping a calendar page or chasing fleeting motivation. It comes from aligning your actions with your purpose.

How Do We Break the Cycle?
It starts by asking a better question:
“Who has God called me to be, and how can I honor Him with my health this year?”

This isn’t about six-packs or crash diets. It’s about stewardship. It’s about becoming the man God created you to be—not for vanity, but for your mission, your family, and your faith.

1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us:
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

This means every meal, every workout, every choice—no matter how small—is an opportunity to glorify Him.
